The Pleasures of Gardening & Crafting
Here's the "by product" of my so called green thumb (Mesclun, Spinach and Carrots):
(below picture shows my "peas")
Some of my recent "crafts", which are Sets of Painted Decoupaged Wood Plaques
(of which I'm going to be selling):
For those of you that have young children and have their room decorated in a specific theme, what is it? I'm asking only because I need to know what parents/kids like so that I may concentrate on those theme. :-)

Ally's room was once decorated with colorful photos of real flowers.
Now, of course, it's more of a disaster area thanks to the bi-monthly shipments of new toys from grandparents. :-)
Winnie the Pooh is still a hot commodity, and I have seen a lot of lime green making its way into nurseries.
Elephants -- Ally loves (and collects) those.
Care Bears, Dora -- hot stuff right now.
Hope this helps some?
I don’t have any kids so I can’t help you out… just wanted to say hi and that I’m looking forward to watching your garden grow! A friend of mine plants different veggies and melons each year and it’s always so much fun to visit her and check out the progress of her garden.
Hi Carole! I love the Tinkerbell plaques! I have a beautiful Tinkerbell print in my daughter's room that I've loved for years (it was my inspiration for my screen name) so I am very interested in the plaques when they are available for purchase. We are painting her room pink this week!! Anyhow, my daughter loves anything princess, the Disney 3 Princess stuff is really hot now. She also loves rainbows, unicorns, castles, pegasus, stuff like that. She got a Hello Kitty Easter Basket this year, we LOVE Hello Kitty around here. Good luck with your new endeavors!!

My daughter's room is purple with butterflies and fairies!
By the way, I started blogging and I'm going to try and keep up with it...

My daughter has a jungle animal theme.
I love your work. Very nice!
I don't have kids....but I still am one. I love, love, love Boyds Bears.
You're incredibly artistic! When my daughter was young, I had a lot of black and white stuff in her room because children don't respond to color until the later months. Big, bold things as well as a mobile in black and white. I loved it!
Later on, it was anything Disney.
Now, she's 14 and still absolutely LOVES her Minnie Mouse comforter. It is almost threadbare.
How's it going, Carole???
Miss you!
where are you Carole?
Susan
update! update! :-)
Where are you? We need some updated belly pictures.
Thinking of You!
